Beauty Sleep is an indie-pop three-piece made up by members Cheylene, Ryan & Aimee whose paths first crossed by chance at a house party in their home city of Belfast. After the trio discovered they shared a mutual love for Gin & Tonic, they soon established a musical connection and it wasn’t long before they got to work crafting the “gorgeous psych-speckled sound” that Clash Magazine swiftly labeled them with.

Typifying the DIY band approach, Beauty Sleep effortlessly emulates the dream-pop haze of their first two singles ‘The Dark’ and ‘Living Right’ plus newer tracks like ‘All In’ and ‘Until We See The Sun’ whenever performed live. The band’s heady, nu-gaze energy helped them secure impressive festival slots in 2017 taking their “rip-roaring, hip-swinging” live-show to Electric Picnic, Other Voices and Brighton’s The Great Escape as well as across Ireland supporting All Tvvins and Pleasure Beach and to London and Germany.

Due to feature on their debut album – released in September 2018 – ‘The Feeling Back’ breezily kicks in with an ascending lullaby-like synth line to provide a simmering, hazy soundscape for Cheylene’s early vocal harmonies to saunter through. The track hits with its chorus with a visceral bite each time briefly taking the track into a new direction, courtesy of Ryan’s jagged, snappy guitar riffs and Aimee’s rumbling basslines.
