Ridwan Akindiran aka MAULO is a British-Nigerian Afrobeat superstar. The singer/song writer brings together traditional African elements with mainstream hiphop&R&B music, creating a sound that’s equal parts infectious and captivating using his unique voice. His love for music started at a very young age. MAULO has always a strong passion for creating music. However, he didn’t start making music till late 2017. His first track “FINE” was released January 2018. Hitting over 100,000 streams across all digital platforms within the first month. After seeing the success of “FINE” and seeing what he is capable of achieving, MAULO started to focus mainly on music to reach his full potential in the industry. MAULO now has over 2.5M streams across all digital platforms. In 2021 MAULO was approached by Under Armour asking him to create a walk out song for the Anthony Joshua fight against Usyk. This song was called “Ambition”. It was played at the Tottenham stadium reaching over 60 million people. As well as featuring in the GQ magazine, MAULO also worked with other brands like JDSPORTS, where he appeared in their Christmas advert.
