R&B/Hip-Hop artist Rocky Sandoval has been consistently adding to a music catalog that stems as far back as 2006. And while this Tacoma, WA native is no stranger to the spotlight, his journey through the music industry thus far has been nothing short of the ultimate underdog story.
Known for his incredibly entertaining high-energy live performances, smooth vocals and versatile storytelling, Rocky credits his family and his loyal fan base as his true inspiration. The Filipino singer/songwriter has had stops on American Idol, MTV’s Making The Band and The Voice and has toured with R&B legends Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, Ginuwine, 112, New Edition and K-Ci and Jojo just to name a few. One of his most notable accolades was working with Grammy Award winning super producers, The Stereotypes, best known for their work on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic in 2017.
His company Baguio CIty Music Box, which he launched in 2015 has set its sights on other endeavors that included fashion, music publishing and event producing. After completely rebranding himself in 2020, Rocky consistently released 14 records in a year and a half span which ultimately led him to sign with Warner Music PH in 2022. With their partnership in place, Warner Music PH is scheduled to release all of his new material.
