“Building in deep foundations in reggae, jungle and R&B, Eva Lazarus spreads her influences far and wide in her song writing style”

Styling her deep roots in reggae, jungle and R&B, Eva Lazarus assorts rich collages of cultural influences in her upbeat songwriting style. Eva built some serious momentum with her previous release ‘Flash Your Lighter’, which featured in the urban movie hit ‘Brotherhood’. The track garnered heavy radio play from David Rodigan and MistaJam across BBC Radio1 and 1Xtra, while also seeing support from Capital FM and Kiss FM. Eva Lazarus is also recognised for vocal work on Etherwood’s ‘Light My Way Home’. The track had it’s world exclusive first play by Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1), to then being Radio 1Xtra playlisted and saw support from Sarah Jane (BBC 1Xtra, Smash of The Week) and DJ Aces (BBC 1Xtra, Weekend Anthem).
Her latest release ‘Bad News’ (produced by Sam Interface (Jus Now) and Brad Baloo) is not short of quality from her previous releases and it appears as her most exciting one yet. Instantly emerging with a poignant reggae vigour, the track transcends to an array of eloquent jungle branded synth growls. The vivid instrumental sits tight with Eva’s sultry vocal variety that matches her recognised sound from past material.

Bringing the essence of Eva Lazarus’s striking showmanship in song, her live show never fails to dissapoint by utilising backing vocalists ‘The Afronaughts’ and bass pumping efforts by DJ Chris Munky. Eva Lazarus and her tirelessly working force have smashed through sets at legendary festivals last year, including Glastonbury, Soundwave, BoomBap, Outlook and a show at BoomTown to a crowd of 16,000+ people alongside Mungos Hifi. Now with the release of her latest single ‘Bad News’ she is ready to take her prowess and new material to festivals like Boomtown, Outlook Festival and venues across the UK once again in 2017.
